PHP5は6月29日で4歳

June 29th is, to me a special day... no, not the release of the iPhone (*drools* yes, I'm getting one), but it will be the 4 year anniversary since the initial beta release of PHP 5.0.0, and the day I started using PHP 5.

Why are people still using PHP 4 again?

PHP5の一番最初のリリース、PHP5.0.0 Beta 1がリリースされたのが、2003年6月29日。4歳になりました。
Beta 1〜4、RC 1〜3を経て、正式版5.0.0が出たのは2004年7月13日。そこからも、まもなく3年を迎えようとしています。

仕事でもそろそろPHP4がターミネートにきていて、そろそろ、5が来るのかなと思っています。5.1と5.2の環境が両方あったりして、また面倒なんだけど。
